This Privacy Policy explains how Promptio (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Promptio mobile application. By using Promptio, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the app:
- Account information: email address and a user identifier to create and manage your account.
- App activity: prompts you view, favorite, and unlock (via premium or rewarded ads), and basic in-app interactions.
- Purchase status: information indicating premium entitlement (we do not receive or store your payment card details).
- Device & diagnostics: device model, OS version, language/region, and crash/performance diagnostics.
- Advertising data: advertising identifier (such as Advertising ID on Android) and limited device information used for ad delivery and measurement.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or health data).
3. How We Use Information
- Provide core features (browse prompts, favorites, unlocks).
- Manage accounts and support requests.
- Verify premium access and restore purchases.
- Operate rewarded ads to unlock content.
- Improve performance, reliability, and prevent abuse/fraud.
4. Ads, Advertising ID & Third-Party Services
Promptio uses rewarded ads provided by third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob). These providers may collect and process information such as the device’s advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location (e.g., country/region), and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.
Depending on your device settings, location, and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized as permitted by applicable law and platform policies.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share information in limited cases:
- Ad providers: for rewarded ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, and crash reporting (only to operate and improve the app).
- Legal & safety: if required to comply with law or to protect users, our rights, or prevent fraud/abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Content in Promptio
Promptio does not allow users to upload or publish content. All prompts displayed in the app are added and moderated by our team.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (such as encrypted transport and access controls) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the app and comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your account data where feasible, except where we must retain certain records (for example, purchase history where required).
9. Your Choices & Rights
- You can request account deletion by contacting us.
- You can control notification permissions in device settings.
- You can reset or limit use of the advertising identifier in your device settings (availability depends on platform).
10. Children’s Privacy
Promptio is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above and publish the latest version on this page.
